0135 Country Comfort Afghans

Description

Afghans are an important part of our decor for bedrooms and family rooms.  They add charm as well as warmth as we try to conserve energy in these days of environment awareness.  Living in the mid-west, quilts are a heavy influence in our lives, although quilts are popular all over the United States.  Many of these afghans started as a quilt design.  This is my interpretation of design and color.

Knitted on electronic standard (4.5mm) machines (a couple of afghans can be knit on punch card machines as well)

Yarns

Fingering to sport weight yarns (tensions 6 -8 or 9 depending on the weight and the way your machine knits).

Options 

Choose between Book only/ Book + Design disk / Design disk only

Design Disks are available in three different formats

• Brother/Knitking 930 Disks: can be used on all machines KH 930 and newer.  Requires the FB100 disk drive.
• Brother/Knitking 940 Disks: can be used on all machines KH 940 and newer.  Requires the FB100 disk drive
• DesignaKnit CD: can be used along with DesignaKnit (.pat, .stp or both) format.  Requires the DesignaKnit software
