These blankets are crib
size so they are great for toddlers. Keep in mind they are drawn to
colors. They usually like bright colors - we usually like the more pastel
colors.

Easy Tuck Baby Blankets
#2
by Charlene Shafer
Book includes four Tuck
Blankets and four Burp cloths. These blankets are easy to knit and take very
little time. No finishing is
required. A crocheted edge may be added, but not necessary.
Tuck increases the width
and thickness of the knit. It's a great stitch for baby blankets. Designs
include diagonal, fleur-de-lis, pyramids, and wave.
These blankets can be
knitted using several types of yarns. The heavier the yarn - the larger the
blanket tends to be.

- Casual Tops
by Charlene Shafer
These short sleeved
sweaters are designed for the warmer weather of spring, summer and fall. You
will notice the armhole is a little
shorter - you won't be wearing them over a blouse. Also - the back armhole
is a little longer to give a straighter hemline. The suggested length is
also shorter. The neck is wider to make the top cooler.
Includes checked top,
two-colored tuck top and V-neck with collar.

- Baby Knits
by Charlene Shafer
This collection of baby
garments is intended for all the grandmas that knit. I know many of the
young parents love to dress their children as little adults in all the
bright colors and grown up styles. These
babies will be grown up soon enough. Many of us still like to see babies as
cute and cuddly bundles of joy. Soft colors and designs are what I have in
mind. The following garments are my interpretation of what little ones
should wear.
Baby garments included are
Rib Tuck Set (Sweater, Matching Pants, Matching Mittens, Boys Hat, Girls
Hat, and Gown), Lace Cardigan, Matching Pants, Cabled Cardigan, Matching
Cable Pants, ABC Pocket Sweater, Matching Pants, Square Corner Hat, Matching
Mittens, Scrunched Cuff Hat, Matching Scrunch Mittens, Short Rowed Hat,
Matching Mittens, Burp Cloth, and Baby Burp Cloth.

- Garter Carriage Coat
by Charlene Shafer
Garter stitch is great for
coats and jackets. The garter carriage knits yarn a little heavier than
normally works easy on
the standard machine.
The body and sleeves of
this coat are an all over texture. The yoke, collar, cuffs and pocket trim
are a diamond design. The underside of the collar, inside of the pockets &
cuffs, as well as the lining of the yoke are knitted in a fairisle design.
Shoulder pads can be tucked between the yoke lining and the yoke to be
neatly concealed. A latched trim divides the body and the yoke as well as
the pocket trim. |
